RoomNetTV brings Apple technology to CitizenM
Following a successful trial at CitizenM’s Schiphol Airport hotel, RoomNetTV’s Dynamic VLAN on demand service with Apple TV has now been rolled out to all of CitizenM’s guest rooms globally.
The solution is currently being installed in two new-build hotels in London – Shoreditch and Tower Hill – and once completed, RoomNetTV’s Apple technology will be available in all of CitizenM’s nine hotels in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Paris, Glasgow, London, New York and Paris.
Darren King, CEO of RoomNetTV commented: “We are incredibly excited to be working with one of the most innovative and forward-thinking hotel companies in the industry. CitizenM understands its customers exceptionally well and continually looks for new ways to enrich the guest experience.
“With Apple TV and our cloud-based Dynamic VLAN service, guests can stream their own content securely in their guest room on a private area network, resulting in a highly personalised in-room entertainment experience.”
All CitizenM Properties also have iMacs in the public space for guests to use for work, play or simply surfing the internet. These Macs are also managed by RoomNetTV using its kiosk application, which ensures all guests content is wiped prior to the next guest having access.
RoomNetTV’s technology enables hotels to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty by offering a truly unique home-away-from-home hotel experience that allows guests to watch what they want, when they want.
